The Wasatch Front Wiener Dog Racing Association<\/strong> is Utah\u2019s original and definitive community dedicated to celebrating dachshunds through fun, family-friendly racing events and gatherings. With hundreds of enthusiastic participants and spectators, we bring people together to honor one of the most beloved dog breeds \u2014 the wiener dog (aka dachshund, aka doxie) \u2014 while fostering community, joy, and shared experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each spring, we host the Millcreek Doxie Derby<\/strong> at Millcreek Common<\/a><\/em>, a festive dachshund racing event that draws local families, dog lovers, and their furry companions for a day of racing, prizes, costumes, and community spirit. The event showcases dozens of dachshunds racing down a straight track to reach their owners \u2014 and usually a favorite treat or toy \u2014 all while spectators cheer them on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our events are built on the belief that every dachshund \u2014 and every wiener dog fan \u2014 is a winner<\/strong>.
